‘Strategizing Scranton’s Recovery’ Discussed at University

Nov 25, 2015

The University of Scranton’s Schemel Forum Collaborative Program will shed light on issues impacting the future of our region with a discussion led by an expert in the financial crisis facing Scranton and other American cities.

On Thursday, Dec. 3, at 5:30 p.m., Henry Amoroso, budget consultant to the City of Scranton and a member of the firm, Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi, of West Orange, New Jersey, will present “Strategizing Scranton’s Recovery.”

The lecture, presented free of charge and open to the public, will feature an in-depth report on Scranton’s recovery strategy and place it within the broader context of challenges facing cities across America that struggle with the burdens of high legacy costs, demographic shifts and a changing economic base.

Presented in collaboration with the University’s Office of Community and Government Relations, Amoroso’s talk will take place in the Pearn Auditorium of Brennan Hall on campus.

Registration is requested to attend.
