Award-winning Author to Talk at The University of Scranton

Meet Ted Conover, author of Coyotes: A Journey Across Borders With America’s Illegal Migrants, on Wednesday, Sept. 3, at 7 p.m. in the fourth floor ballroom of the Patrick and Margaret DeNaples Center at The University of Scranton.

Mr. Conover will be available to sign copies of the book immediately following the lecture. The event is open to the public free of charge.

Called a book with grace and wisdom by the New York Times Book Review, Coyotes is a compassionate chronicle of Conover’s experience living with Mexicans as they illegally crossed the boarder into the United States. The book, published by Vintage, received a American Library Association Award and was named a New York Times Notable Book.

Conover’s other books are Rolling Nowhere, Whiteout and Newjack: Guarding Sing Sing.
