Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship Dinner Planned at The University of Scranton

The University of Scranton will host the 20th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship Dinner on Saturday, Feb. 21, in the Rose Room of Brennan Hall on campus.

Refreshments will be served at 5:30 p.m., followed by a dinner and program at 7 p.m. Guest speaker is Stacy Brown, author and news reporter for the Scranton Times-Tribune.

The Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship is presented each year to an African-American high school student who resides in Lackawanna County.

The event is sponsored by the university’s Office of Multicultural Affairs, United Colors Organization and The Council for Community Affairs.
