University of Scranton Students and Alumni Partner with Community for Planting in Downtown and Plan Street Sweep in Hill Section

As part of The University of Scranton’s Earth Week activities, alumni and hundreds of students will participate in a service effort on April 14 that includes planting flowers through downtown Scranton and cleaning up areas surrounding campus. The University is partnering with Scranton Tomorrow/Main Street Scranton to beautify more than 40 planters throughout downtown Scranton with plants and flowers. Students will also be raking leaves in Nay Aug Park.  The project is in addition to an annual street sweep in the Historic Hill Section.
