University of Scranton Plans Open House Events for Prospective Students
The University of Scranton will host Open House events for prospective students and their families Sunday, Oct. 20, and Sunday, Nov. 3.
The University of Scranton will host two Open House events for prospective students and their families on Sunday, Oct. 20, and Sunday, Nov. 3.
At both events, visitors will have the opportunity meet with current students, faculty, admissions and financial aid representatives and others to learn about the Jesuit university’s 61 undergraduate majors, tour campus and attend information sessions. Representatives from campus organizations and activities, sports teams and the University’s programs of excellence, such as the Honors Program, Business Leadership Honors Program, Faculty-Student Research Program and Special Jesuit Liberal Arts Honors Program, will also be available.
Registration begins at 9:00 a.m. Student-led tours will be conducted throughout the day and will include residence halls, dining halls, computer labs, science labs and academic facilities. Open house also includes complimentary brunch and light lunch for prospective students and their families.
