University of Scranton Professors Featured on Academic Minute
Several University of Scranton professors will be featured on “The Academic Minute,” which is broadcast daily by Albany’s WAMC public radio station and featured by Inside Higher Ed. The segments, hosted by Lynn Pasquerella, Ph.D., president of Mount Holyoke College, feature a different professor each day discussing research and include experts from top research institutions from across the county.
Gary Kwiecinski, Ph.D., professor of biology, will be the first University of Scranton professor to be featured. He discusses some of his research concerning bats in his segment that will air on Oct. 30. (Dr. Kwiecinski’s segment can be heard here after 12:01 a.m.)
In addition to Dr. Kwiecinski, Michael Allison, Ph.D., associate professor and chair of the Political Science Department, Jean Wahl Harris, Ph.D., professor of political science, and Michael J. Jenkins, Ph.D., assistant professor of criminal justice, will be featured in upcoming Academic Minute segments.
“The Academic Minute” airs each weekday at 7:34 a.m. and 3:56 p.m. on WAMC in Albany, New York. Inside Higher Ed also airs the segments on the web here.
