Social Entrepreneur and Sports Business Columnist to Discuss Entrepreneurship, Leadership and Promoting Social Good at University

Magazine, will discuss entrepreneurship, leadership and promoting social good to students and area residents Saturday, Sept. 12, at 1 p.m. in the University’s PNC Auditorium of the Loyola Science Center. University of Scranton graduate Mandy Antoniacci, writer of “ChangeUp” column for Inc. Mandy Antoniacci, writer of “ChangeUp” sports business column for Inc. Magazine and advocate for social change will present “How to Throw a ChangeUp,” at The University of Scranton Saturday, Sept. 12. She will discuss entrepreneurship, leadership and promoting social good to students and area residents.

In her Inc. Magazine column, Antoniacci profiles team owners, coaches, players and entrepreneurs who stand for positive change.

“From a professional athlete with an audience of millions, to a college student on a campus of thousands, everyone’s story has the ability to positively affect our culture. The question to ask yourself is ‘what story will you tell?’” Antoniacci said.

As an entrepreneur, Antoniacci is the creator and partner of several social enterprise ventures, including an educational sports app for kids launching in the 2016 NBA season. A University of Scranton graduate, Antoniacci was one of the youngest executive vice presidents in the advertising industry.

A native of Moosic, Antoniacci is a graduate or Riverside High School.

The talk will take place in the PNC Auditorium of the Loyola Science Center at 1 p.m. The presentation is free of charge and open to the public.
