University Student Government Leads Street Sweep Saturday

Through an effort led by The University of Scranton’s Student Government, working in collaboration with the University’s Office of Community Relations, Greenhouse Project and Hill Neighborhood Association, hundreds of students will participate in this year’s Street Sweep Saturday, Oct. 10.

The semi-annual community service initiative, which focuses on the Hill section, will take place from noon to 2 p.m. at locations between Mulberry Street and Myrtle Street starting at Madison Avenue and going all the way to Prescott Avenue. Students will also volunteer at Greenhouse Project's community gardens and around the Hill Neighborhood Association office.

Students volunteering for the Street Sweep will gather in the lower Madison Parking Lot on the University’s campus at noon.
