The Scranton Brass Orchestra and Scranton Prep Cavalyrics to Perform at University's Empty Stocking Fund Benefit Concert
Donations from those attending The University of Scranton’s 16th Annual Empty Stocking Fund Benefit Concert, featuring The Scranton Brass Orchestra and the Scranton Prep Cavalyrics, will benefit children of local families in need this holiday season, through collaboration with United Neighborhood Center’s Project Hope. The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 11, in the University’s Houlihan-McLean Center.
Performance Music at The University of Scranton will present the 16th Annual Empty Stocking Fund Benefit Concert, featuring The Scranton Brass Orchestra and The Scranton Preparatory School Cavalyrics, on Sunday, Dec. 11. The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the University’s Houlihan-McLean Center (Mulberry Street at Jefferson Ave.).
The event is open to the public, and all who attend the concert are asked to bring a new toy, an article of children’s clothing, or a monetary donation. The collection will benefit children of local families in need this holiday season, through collaboration with United Neighborhood Center’s Project Hope.
The evening will include performances of a variety of holiday favorites and an audience Christmas caroling sing-along.
