Scranton Graduates Commissioned as Second Lieutenants

Eight members of The University of Scranton’s class of 2022 were commissioned as second lieutenants in the U.S. Army during a ceremony held in the Kane Forum of Leahy Hall on campus on May 21.

The University of Scranton ROTC graduates who were commissioned at the ceremony are:

2^nd Lt. Caitlyn Reilly Maurer of White House Station, New Jersey;

2^nd Lt. Andrea Susana McDarby of Clarks Summit;

2^nd Lt. Zachary N. Raico of Sykesville, Maryland;

2^nd Lt. Maximilian James Sharkey of Carlisle;

2^nd Lt. John W. Shaughnessy of Florida, New York;

2^nd Lt. Brenna C. Tracy of Lavallette, New Jersey;

2^nd Lt. Katelyn Elizabeth Weisz of Littlestown.
