SCI Waymart Program Donates to University of Success

The University of Scranton's University of Success recently received a $2,000 donation from Waymart Inmates Nurturing Growth and Stability (WINGS). Founded in 1996, the University of Success is a fully funded, four-year, pre-college mentorship program that provides high school students with educational opportunities and support designed to help them gain entrance into a college or university. WINGS, based at SCI Waymart, actively raises funds for charitable causes and local organizations. The University of Scranton’s University of Success recently received a $2,000 donation from Waymart Inmates Nurturing Growth and Stability (WINGS).

Founded in 1996, the University of Success is a four-year, pre-college mentorship program that provides high school students with educational opportunities and support designed to help them gain entrance into a college or university. The program is a fully funded by corporate and foundation grants, ensuring there is no charge to students and their families.

WINGS, based at SCI Waymart, actively raises funds for charitable causes and local organizations including the University of Success.
