The Appointment of the 25th President of The University of Scranton

The Reverend Kevin P. Quinn, S.J., J.D., Ph.D., executive director of the Ignatian Center for Jesuit Education and a professor of law at Santa Clara University, Santa Clara, Calif., was named the 25th president of The University of Scranton at a news conference on Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2010. Pictured to the left of Father Quinn (at podium) are University of Scranton President Rev. Scott R. Pilarz, S.J., and Christopher “Kip” Condron, chair of the University’s Board of Trustees. Father Quinn will assume his duties as president on July 1, 2011.

The University of Scranton named Reverend Kevin P. Quinn, S.J., J.D., Ph.D., as its 25th President at a news conference on Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2010. Since that time, there have been numerous articles about Fr. Quinn, who currently serves as the executive director of the Ignatian Center for Jesuit Education and a professor of law at Santa Clara University, Santa Clara, Calif., including a profile in the Scranton Times-Tribune and a special online addition of the student newspaper, The Aquinas.  Links to additional news stories can be found here
