Exhibit: “The Lackawanna Iron Furnaces of Scranton, Pennsylvania: History, Art, Heritage” featuring an exhibition of nineteenth-century paintings, drawings, maps, and photographs. This project is produced in partnership with the Lackawanna Historical Society and Anthracite Heritage Museum and Scranton Iron Furnaces. Hope Horn Gallery, Hyland Hall. Free during gallery hours. Taiwanese Film and Cultural Festival: “The Moon Also Rises,” based on the novel “The Lotus in the Western Paradise” followed by discussion with author, Ang Li, on whose novel the film is based.
