The fall issue of The Scranton Journal is in mailboxes! You can also check it out online, here, or find copies on the first and fourth floors of DeNaples and the fifth floor of Brennan.

Inside, you can read about our former president, Kevin P. Quinn, S.J., who guided the University through important expansions and implemented a new strategic plan. And check out the update on how we've met goals of that plan so far. You can also read about LEAP, a new program in which student volunteers opened up a sacred space for creative expression for women at a local prison, as well as a recent alumna's article on how she and several students in the Honors Program served their 'neighbors' in Scranton.  Alumni profiles detail careers at C-SPAN, in medicine (and music) and in baseball. There's also a Q&A with Rev. Herbert B. Keller, S.J., who during his career has worked as a University Trustee for 17 years. He was installed as interim University president on Aug. 31. " I have been uniquely blessed in having had the opportunity to see up close the leadership styles of the four immediate past presidents. I can truly say that I have learned something valuable from each of them and will bring this experience to my own tenure here," he said.
