Flu Shot Clinics on Campus

Rite Aid will be on campus for a flu shot clinic on Thursday, Oct. 19, from 11:30 a.m. - 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 15, from 11:30 a.m. - 2 p.m giving out flu shots.

Getting a flu shot every year is your best defense against illness that could make you feel terrible, miss days of school or work and infect young children, elderly and other vulnerable members of our community. For more information about the benefits of the flu vaccine visit www.cdc.gov/flu. Rite Aid will be on campus for a flu shot clinic on Thursday, Oct. 19, from 11:30 a.m. - 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 15, from 11:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Both clinics will be on the first floor of the DeNaples Center.

 

Staff, faculty and students are welcome to drop in Bring a copy of your health insurance benefit card to verify if you are eligible for a no cost vaccine. Some of the insurance companies that cover the flu shot at no cost are: - Highmark BCBS - Geisinger - Aetna Medical - Cigna IF you do not have one of the above insurances, call the customer service on the back of your medical card to find out how you are eligible for a no-cost vaccine from Rite Aid. Some insurance companies require you to go to a specific provider.

The flu shot is available to students for $20 at student health services.
