Women's History Month Event
Please join the Jane Kopas Women's Center and Women's Studies Department for a talk with Martha Capwell Fox, Historian and Archives Coordinator for the National Canal Museum / Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor in celebration of Women's History Month. Martha will share with us a bit of history about silk mills and the women who worked in them, and their impact on the Northeast Pennsylvania economy during the boom of the coal industry!
Refreshments will be provided, and we will also have free tickets to the Anthracite Heritage Museum for the first 20 attendees!
