Meg Cullen Brown Magis Award -- August
The Staff Senate would like to thank all staff members who took the time to recognize and share their colleague’s accomplishments, sense of community, and dedication to excellence. The Meg Cullen Brown Magis Award would not exist without our caring community!
THE MEG CULLEN-BROWN MAGIS AWARD WINNER for AUGUST 2020 is:
Lynn Pelick - ORAS! Although we are not physically on campus, it in no way negates the caring and commitment that Lynn shows to our University community on a daily basis. We hope you will join us in personally congratulating Lynn, and all of our nominees, upon our return to campus.
How long have you worked at the University?
I’ve been at the UofS for 17 years (this September).
What do you like best about your job?
What I like best about my job is there is never a dull moment. After all these years in the Registrar’s Office I still learn something new all the time.
What do you like to do for fun?
For fun, I like to vacation in new places, hang out with my dogs and I enjoy gardening.
Lynn will receive a certificate for $50 worth of complimentary food at our fabulous University food service outlets, as well as, a reserved parking space in the DeNaples Parking Pavillon (alternate month to be determined.) Each monthly winner is also invited to the Senate Recognition luncheon in May to receive a certificate of appreciation. We congratulate our winner, and all the other nominees for being recognized as “Magis” employees.
