2025 Community Partner Donation Opportunities

Are you looking to declutter your home to make room for the new year? The University of Scranton Center for Service and Social Justice has provided a list of community partners who would love to take items that no longer serve you and your home, but would make someone else very happy! See the list with links below.
It's important not to donate broken/soiled items to charity because it burdens the organization with unusable goods that require disposal, taking up valuable time and resources that could be used for helping people in need.
2025 Community Partner Donation Opportunities
Please refer to the Community partners’ website or contact them directly for more information on acceptable donations and where/when to drop off.
Clothing
- Friends of the Poor, Donations are accepted at our warehouse, 240 East Elm Street, Scranton, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Angels Attic at United Neighborhood Centers, 410 Olive St. Scranton. Donations accepted Monday-Friday from 9 a.m.- 5 p.m.
- Providence Pregnancy Center ReBorn store, women’s
- Goodwill NEPA
- Salvation Army Scranton
- Teen Threads at The University of Scranton, donations geared to ages 13-21 accepted daily at Arrupe House, 400 Clay Ave (leave on porch marked) and the CSSJ office, 205B DeNaples Center, 900 Mulberry St.
- Clothesline for Men, men's
- St. Joseph’s Center baby pantry, baby and toddler
- St. Francis Commons, adults
- Keystone Mission, adults
- Patty Lee’s Marvelous Mission, children’s
