University Holds Advent Mass and Christmas Tree Lighting (Photos)

After attending this year's Advent Mass, members of The University of Scranton community braved the cold weather to witness the annual Christmas tree lighting.

The University of Scranton's annual Christmas tree lighting on the John and Jacquelyn Dionne Campus Green was preceded by the Advent Mass inside the Byron Recreation Complex.

On the eve of finals week, members of The University of Scranton community gathered in reflection and celebration.

The University hosted the annual University Advent Liturgy Mass on Sunday, Dec. 5, inside the Byron Recreation Complex.

After Mass, attendees proceeded to the John and Jacquelyn Dionne Campus Green at the heart of campus, where the University's Christmas tree was lit for the season alongside a Nativity scene.
