The University of Scranton was once again selected by The Princeton Review as one of the nation's best colleges, in addition to earning three national top-25 rankings in categories that reflect a campus culture rooted in connection, service and school pride.

F.I.R.S.T. Program Hosts Community Fun Day, School Supply Giveaway

Forty incoming University of Scranton students traded a week of summer break for a week of service, highlighted by a Community Fun Day and back-to-school supply giveaway for local families.

FOX56, WBRE and WNEP were among the media who covered the activities organized by the University's F.I.R.S.T. (First Years Involved in Reflective Service Together) program.

Senior Accounting Student Named PCAOB Scholar

Camia Rosella Capalongo ’27, an accounting major from Scranton, was named a 2026 Scholar by the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board. She is one of 677 college students in the nation to receive the scholarship, which recognizes students pursuing accounting studies and supports their development as future professionals.
