University of Scranton 20-Year Employees Honored at Pro Deo Event

The University of Scranton’s Order of Pro Deo recently honored employees who have achieved 20 years of service at the University.
Sixteen employees were formally recognized at an induction ceremony held Friday, Sept. 18, at the Pearn Auditorium inside Brennan Hall. Rev. Joseph G. Marina, S.J., presented the inductees with their awards while also offering a blessing and remarks.
The Order of Pro Deo at The University of Scranton was established in 1961 by Rev. John J. Long, S.J., University president from 1953-1963. Since its creation, 797 individuals have been honored with induction.
