University Policy Information Sessions and Volunteer Training

All staff and faculty are invited to attend and learn more about the University policies and available resources and support.

The Office of Institutional Compliance and Title IX will host informational and training programs for all employees regarding University policy - your resources, roles and responsibilities. 

elizabeth-garcia1a.jpgElizabeth Garcia, Associate Vice President, Office of Institutional Compliance and Title IX, and Diana Collins Gilmore, Deputy Title IX Coordinator/Investigator will present two sessions on University policies. For your convenience, one session will be offered in-person and one virtually.

University Policy Information Sessions:  Learn more about policies on:

  • diana-collins-may22.jpgReasonable accommodations provided to employees for reasons based on disabilities, pregnancy, or religious beliefs, and the policies and process
  • What constitutes sexual harassment, where to report instances, where to get support for yourself or students who may have experienced something, and the University process to address possible violations of policy
  • The University’s Non-Discrimination statement and supportive policy, and what constitutes unlawful harassment and discrimination based upon protected classes

ADDITIONAL TRAINING 


Title IX Adjudication Process Training - Virtual

This important training is for individuals willing to serve the University community in Title IX (sexual harassment and sexual misconduct) related matters supporting students, faculty and staff. Title IX process roles may include party advisors, hearing panelists and informal process facilitators. Please contact the OIC with any questions.
