Campus ‘Move-out’ Rummage Sale to Benefit Domestic Service Trips
Campus Ministries’ Center for Service and Social Justice at The University of Scranton will hold a rummage sale for small household items donated by students as they moved out of campus housing and area apartments. The sale will take place Friday, June 2, from noon to 6 p.m., and Saturday, June 3, from 8 a.m. to noon, at 333 Madison Avenue on campus (former Girl Scout House).
Items offered for sale include housewares, glassware, dishes, cookware, lamps, picture frames, holiday items, books, long mirrors, twin comforters, sheets and other items. Items must be paid for in cash at time of purchase.
The sale supports domestic service trips organized by Campus Ministries’ Center for Service and Social Justice. During spring break this year, 45 University students participated in six domestic service trips.
