University To Host Annual Volunteer and Service Fair Sept. 9

The University of Scranton will host its annual Volunteer and Service Fair on Tuesday, Sept. 9, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the DeNaples Center Ballroom. This highly attended event connects local non-profit organizations with students eager to engage in meaningful service throughout the greater Scranton area.

Each year, more than 700 students participate in the fair, exploring volunteer opportunities in a wide range of focus areas including education, healthcare, food insecurity, housing, social justice and environmental sustainability. The University's strong commitment to service is reflected in the more than 175,000 hours contributed annually by 2,800-plus student volunteers.
