HS Students Attend 5th Annual Business Conference

Eighty-three high school students participated in team-building exercises, breakout sessions and other activities at the fifth annual Path to Business Excellence Conference.
The University of Scranton’s Kania School of Management (KSOM) organized and hosted the event on Saturday, Nov. 22. Participants engaged in faculty- and student-led sessions and had an opportunity to hear from current students and alumni about their experience within KSOM, which holds accreditation from AACSB International, the gold standard for business school accreditation.
The students who attended the conference, along with their families, learned about a wide range of business majors offered at Scranton, including analytics and accounting programs that U.S. News and World Report ranked among the top 40 in the nation. Attendees also learned about Scranton’s underlying philosophy, guided by Jesuit ideals, in which students are encouraged to participate in community service, clubs and co-curricular activities while receiving an outstanding education.
