Author Eileen Markey To Speak at Spirituality Luncheon March 24

The Jesuit Center invites the University community to this month's Spirituality Luncheon on Tuesday, March 24 at noon in Edward R. Leahy Jr. Hall, 235/Kane Forum.
The March luncheon will be held on the Feast of St. Oscar Romero, honoring the many faculty and staff from our University who have traveled to El Salvador for decades. The Jesuit Center will host a visiting speaker this month, Eileen Markey. A graduate of Fordham University, Markey is a journalist, a professor at Lehman College, and the author of "A Radical Faith: The Assassination of Sister Maura." She will discuss these important histories of Catholic witness and how they inform the work for justice today.
Guests are invited to share in a meal and good conversation with colleagues and friends. All are welcome to attend. The Jesuit Center has a limited number of copies of "A Radical Faith" for those interested in reading some of Markey's work before the lecture.
Those interested in attending, should register through the link below by the end of the day on Friday, March 20.
