Scranton Invites Accepted Students and Families To Visit March 29, April 5

Scheduled events throughout the Accepted Students Days will include a President's Welcome with Rev. Joseph G. Marina, S.J., “The Student Experience” presentations, residence hall tours, visits with faculty and academic departments, and meetings with the admissions and financial aid teams.

Accepted students and their family are invited to visit The University of Scranton on Saturday, March 29, or Saturday, April 5, at 9 a.m. Check-in begins at 8:15 a.m.

What is Accepted Students Day?

It's a day all about students and their new home at Scranton. Exclusively for accepted students and their families, the event is designed for Royals in the Class of 2029!


What Can Attendees Expect?


Scheduled events throughout the day will include;

9 - 9:45 a.m., President’s welcome

9 a.m. - 2 p.m., meetings with the admissions team

10 a.m. -1:30 p.m., campus tours, departing every 10 minutes

10 a.m. - 1 p.m., faculty and academic department visits

10 a.m.-1 p.m. – “The Student Experience” presentations

10 a.m.-2 p.m. – Residence hall tours

The schedule includes time to explore campus and an opportunity to:

  • Discover a new favorite place on campus to hang out with friends and enjoy a coffee break.

  • Sample award-winning food at the University's Fresh Food Company on the third floor of the DeNaples Center during brunch.

  • Learn about how to join one or more of our 100-plus clubs and organizations by chatting with student leaders.

  • Schedule a 15-minute meeting with one of the University's Financial Aid representatives. Please note: Appointments are limited to 15 minutes per family.
